"The Entry" |
---|
Hello! How are you? I wanted to touch base and let you
know
what I have
been up to and to reassure you that I am still here and very passionate
about decorative painting. I was blessed to be able to take an
advanced
decorative painting class in Dallas this past April taught by Sheri
Zeman of Faux Design Studio in Chicago. I learned "30" new wall
finishes each more gorgeous than the last and all of them are
SPECTACULAR! Some are tone on tone and some sparkle like the
morning
dew... with glitter, glass beads and fun things like silver dust.
Call me to see the finishes in person and have a look at some of the samples in
the photos below: |

My friend, Vicki Schultz of Artistic Finishes by Vicki, and I had the privledge of working with our client to create a custom entry floor for her new home. It was a rewarding process to design and install the client's vision. She had a white oak wood floor installed and we primed and painted it! Hard to believe, yes, but as you can see - painted floors are very chic! We worked closely with Modello Designs so that our masking pattern aligned with the hallways and fit the space "perfectly"! To go above and beyond the call of duty we added the extra octagons after we pulled the pattern to make our client's dreams come true... |
